Heat Illness Prevention Plan
Heat Illness Prevention Program
Stockton Unified School District is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. The Heat Illness Prevention Program has been developed to ensure employees have the training, resources, and equipment necessary to recognize, prevent, and respond to heat-related illnesses and exposures.
Working in high-temperature conditions can pose serious health risks. This program outlines the procedures, responsibilities, and preventive measures designed to protect employees from heat-related hazards while performing their job duties. Through education, access to water, rest, shade, and emergency response protocols, the District strives to promote employee well-being and maintain a safe workplace for everyone.
We encourage all employees to familiarize themselves with the requirements of this program and actively participate in heat illness prevention practices to help safeguard their health and safety.
